Mary Rodwell founded ACERN (the Australian Close Encounter Research Network) to support people who have been abducted by extraterrestrial beings. At the time ACERN was formed, extraterrestrial contactees and their families had nowhere to go and no one to talk to about the impact of close encounters and abduction experiences on their lives. Mary Rodwell is a trained hypnotherapist, a former nurse/midwife, and the author of the book Awakening.
