Russell Targ – Physics Has Finally Proved ESP

Russell Targ

Remote viewing pioneer and ESP researcher Russell Targ returns to It’s Rainmaking Time!® hot on the heels of his latest book The Reality of ESP: A Physicist’s Proof of Psychic Abilities. Although many of us have accepted the reality of extrasensory perception and remote viewing, these mental faculties remain difficult to explain within the framework of accepted scientific cosmology. The evidence presented in The Reality of ESP is rooted in statistical proof. Russell Targ describes statistical proof as evidence “so strong it would be logically or probabilistically unreasonable to deny,” affirming that “If facts alone can convince a skeptical investigator of the reality of ESP, this book should do it.”

A co-founder of SRI’s remote viewing research project, Russell Targ is a true pioneer who has stewarded essential research on the nature of consciousness for decades. Join us as we explore the evidence for – and implications of – mind unbound by space and time.

A lot of aspects were clarified in this show.

The references to “your awareness fills the universe” and “the same soup of consciousness” points to what has been referred to as the Yechidah and the Ain Sof in the Kabbalah. The “your awareness” in this case is referred to as the Yechidah which is said to be indistinguishable from the “the same soup of consciousness”, the Ain Sof.

The problems caused by “memory and analysis” point to the Second Commandment, which is commonly interpreted in Christianity as an injunction against creating “graven images”. The word thus translated, פסל (fesel), carries the meaning of “incomplete representation”, and does not exclude mental concepts from its implications. It is a path to personal progress in which phenomena such as remote viewing are the most minor of concomitants. When freed from subjugation to “memory and analysis” one exists in the Yechidah level of the soul. That is similar to being in Carnegie Hall as mentioned in the show; it is just that one is unaware that one is there already.

Yet because of their power, those phenomena pose a distinct danger of distraction, leading one astray. One of many similar phenomena is Kefitzat ha-Derekh, which has also been noted in inexplicably short travel times in Buddhist sources.

Non-local awareness is not a discovery of the modern day, it is of the very essence of one’s being, as referred to in the creating of man in His own image
ברוך אתה ה’ אלהינו מלך העולם, אשר יצר את האדם בצלמו, בצלם

The interconnectedness of all things has also been described in ancient times as Interdependent Co-origination.

Profound! Fascinating! It doesn’t get better than this. Thank you for this gift!
    Namaste.

i wouldn’t say one experiment “proves” it, neither does one semi-popular blog make an authentic “article”. But hey, its amazing to know that ESP exists.

the reticular formation is nuts, doyle brunsons super system talks explicitly of ESP

Further to the statistical evidence provided by ESP champion Russell Targ, Robin Foy and his team has gathered an extremely impressive array of physical, objective evidence which is highlighted in The Afterlife Investigations: The Scole Experiment (please note – the director of this film has given me direct written permission to post this link):
