Summertime brings the sunlight, more playfulness, a wish to move and travel, to do the things many of us don’t often make time for in the winter, wherever in the world we happen to be. Many people don’t get to walk into the ocean or feel the sea breeze, the ions in the air, the ebb and flow of life by the water.
At this time in late summer, Kim sits on the beach and reflects what’s on her mind and heart and the state of the world. She shares how “It’s Rainmaking Time!” first came into her awareness, and one of the most impactful revelations of her life to date.
She shoots the video on her iPhone, without her usual GH5 Camera & her R20 professional microphone — a departure from the setup she loves, and at first, it felt strange. The wind was blowing hard, so much so that her longtime collaborator Dan had to use AI to bring her voice up against the ocean breeze.
Kim was so happy to feel the wind against her face and looking out at the ocean that she didn’t think twice about how it would sound. Having lived in two locations that were not near any local beach, she found this experience to be a real delight and wishes to thank Dan Bender for his help bringing her voice through it. We hope you enjoy the talk and that some of you join her for an upcoming teaching and coaching session, where she works closely with a small handful of people on their own rainmaking applications.
