Living in Virginia, she was and still is targeted by an entity that used a grainy photo of her car and real license plate to fabricate a bus-lane violation in New York. At first, she assumed it was an isolated scam and ignored it. After months of continued harassment via threatening letters in the mail with grainy photos of her car and license plate, she realized something far more systemic was underway. In this talk, she’ll walk through exactly what happened, name some of the agencies involved, and explain why she’s speaking publicly: so other drivers take this warning seriously before it happens to them.
She’ll also explain what remedies she pursued to report the abuse, and what prevention steps you need to take now, so you’re not caught off guard. If you don’t prepare, it’s only a matter of time before you’re presumed guilty until you can prove your innocence.
