Writer Jonathan Bailey never intended to become an expert on intellectual property law; it was a role thrust upon him in April 2002 when he discovered that six years of his writing and poetry had been stolen by an online plagiarist. Devastated, Jonathan embarked on the long, frustrating task of finding – and stopping – others from wrongfully using his work. Along the way, he became incredibly proficient in copyright law, and developed a quick and effective method of shutting down plagiarists. In 2005, Jonathan Bailey founded Plagiarism Today, a blog and information portal dedicated to the subjects of copyright theft and copyright infringement. In this show, Jonathan Bailey talks about his experience as a victim of plagiarism and clears up confusion over copyright law.
