PMH Atwater – Understanding Near Death Experiences

Categories: Parapsychology, Spirituality

P.M.H. Atwater

Author and researcher PMH Atwater, a pioneer in near-death studies, has written over ten books on the broader subject of transformation of consciousness, including Future Memory (1999), Coming Back to Life: The After-Effects of the Near-Death Experience (2001), and Near-Death Experiences: The Rest of The Story (2011). PMH Atwater found her bliss in the written word during the 1960s. She wrote for the Idaho Department of Commerce and Development, Sunset Magazine, and Incredible Idaho Magazine, among others, and built an impressive list of accomplishments and awards. Then, in 1977, she died – three times – and had profound near-death experiences that would direct her research and writing forever. PMH Atwater’s personal near-death experiences are documented in I Died Three Times in 1977 – The Complete Story (2010).

In this interview, we delve into Near-Death Experiences: The Rest of The Story, PMH Atwater’s account of 33 years of fieldwork with nearly 4,000 adult and child experiencers. Near-Death Experiences also covers PMH Atwater’s pre-NDE work, which includes ten years of investigative research into psychic phenomena, altered states of consciousness, mysticism, and the transformational process. In other words, the book’s data set spans an incredible 43 years – and almost 7,000 people. If your curiosity extends beyond the boundaries of life itself, don’t miss this show!
