SECURE CAR PARKING, ANYONE?

Kim shares her shocking and unexpected experience in Marseille, France, meeting with contempt, indifference, and a lack of accountability on a road trip back from France to Spain, where she had been visiting for a few months. What would you do if you brought all of your clothes, equipment, and more on a trip and had it all stolen?

Apparently, you have to use great forbearance when you observe feedback on places like booking.com as many negative results are totally censored to protect the hotels and you don’t get a balanced look at where you are really staying. Listen to the details of what unfolded and see what you think.

I’m starting to wonder if there is a concerted effort to recruit and encourage psychopathy in the police force who are supposed to serve us. Who is worse, lawyers, bankers, police or politicians???

Sounds to me like there is a racket between the hotel and others!

It’s always when you’re tired and exhausted that things start to go wrong.

i had to install a video camera in my truck, it of itself is not enough, i am speaking to a “spyshops” guy about ripping the device up to mount the camera in a different location to make it theft proff. we live in troubled times.
i always look up the area i am visiting to ascertain the criminality content

Looks like France hasn’t changed much since my first visit there, 1981. Two of us were just leaving the Louvre, walking towards the “Tuillerie Jardins” where we were nearly mugged in full daylight. (Having grown-up in a very Cosmopolitan, City of 12 Million People, where, even as a Teen, I knew my way around, returning from English School late at night, sharpens One’s senses), so–when a young man, who–spotting my Ladden Camera Bag–began following us through the gardens, I alerted my Companion. We thwarted him by “mingling” with a Group of Japanese Tourists, & hopping on the first bus we saw coming. This was 1 wk before a National Incident (a Bomb) exploded in front of another Tourist Attraction: Notre Damme Cathedral. Our subsequent stops in other towns and in the Train were equally bad. I’m 1/8th French, yet just the same: The French may Keep France for themselves. (J’ay jamais vois revolvrés à la France).

The French city of Marseille has an estimated 30 to 40 percent Muslim population and has been ranked as the most dangerous city in Europe. To a Muslim all others are kafirs and can be deceived. lied-to, robbed, raped, enslaved or killed.
