Wendy Murphy, J.D., is a fearless and groundbreaking attorney who represents crime victims, women, children, and victim service providers. She is the founder and director of the Victim Advocacy & Research Group, a volunteer legal advocacy organization that provides free legal services to victims. Ms. Murphy also teaches seminars on sexual violence at New England Law|Boston, where she directs the Judicial Language Project and an internet-based alert service called Sexual Violence Legal News. She has an extensive history of impact litigation in the aim of bringing about systemic change in the legal system of the United States.

As a young prosecutor, Ms. Murphy learned that the legal system works in favor of criminal defendants – often at the expense of their victims. She documents her firsthand experiences of this injustice and its enablers in her first book And Justice For Some.     Hi Kim
    I found this interview very intense and depressing at the
    very least. Had to break it down into sections to digest!
    I don’t think this lady wasted one word in this piece.
    Thank you so much again for the provoking content,
    unfortunately we have all been children and felt the
    vulnerability. Ms. Murphy is an Agent for Change and
    God Bless Her and her Cause

    I agree with what you said on Jane’s show today regarding the defense using sex to play to the men on the jury; I watched the entire trial and was appalled when the defense in their closing arguments show that naked picture of Jody and for no reason other than to lure a male juror. I knew at the time that was what they were doing; and then knew that Jodi was able to manipulate men with sex so that is what they did and I feel it was horrible; I actually told a few friends that I felt they were just trying to get one male juror on their side.
