June 2014 Newsletter

Dear its rainmaking time Audience,

I just returned from a two-week adventure in Spain. After landing in Madrid, I took a train to Alicante, where I was met by The Royal Rainmaking Family in Torrevieja, who whisked me off to a lovely apartment. This generous and hospitable dynamic duo – avid listeners of its rainmaking time – took excellent care of me.

In Valladolid, I saw an amazing street show that was like a mini Cirque du Soleil. In Palencia, I interviewed a nine-year-old girl at a Tapas bar. Although my Spanish was practically nonexistent, and we could barely understand each other, somehow, we couldn’t stop laughing! I attended a Catholic Mass there, where I was probably called a sinner without knowing what they were saying.

I met a sweet young couple in Burgos who acted as my guides; we had a delightful time and drank way too much coffee. After returning to Madrid, I spent the day with a Belgian couple that made me laugh until my face hurt. We went to a famous international market, where people from all over the world welcomed me and shared food and drink. Angels in human form appeared everywhere I traveled.

The day I left Spain was a sad day, but in the next few months, its rainmaking time will be in production in Barcelona, Sevilla, Torrevieja, and San Sebastián. We’re excited for the expansion of The Rainmaking Company and the show! Aren’t you?
